Microsoft have implemented API functions for GPS/location features in Windows Mobile 5.0, and now here is a company is offering GPS library for Windows Mobile! Scientific Component has released GPS ToolKit.NET Mobile, bringing a .NET Compact Framework version of its award winning GPS ToolKit.NET product to Pocket PC and Windows Mobile applications.
GPS ToolKit.NET Mobile provides software developers with an API for communicating with many types of GPS units, including RS232 and Bluetooth devices. It provides access to real-time position, speed, course, satellite, navigation data and more. Additionally, GPS ToolKit.NET Mobile provides the ability to automatically detect GPS units, transfer waypoints, add routes, and download tracks from many Garmin GPS devices, including the eTrex and GPS III series.
